Your membership also gives you the added benefits of access to the site for parking, going for a run and cycle outside of swim hours.
Swimmers are reminded to never swim alone during a session. A person observing from the banks or another swimmer that acts as a buddy, will minimise the possibility of safety issues arising. We also recommend the use of a tow float and swim caps to make you visible.
Rowers may take to the Lake on Wednesday mornings so swimming will be restricted to the 400m course and below.
For Under 18s please note it is mandatory to use a tow float and an adult must be in loco parentis (unless a coached session is in place and the safety procedures have been approved).
Please ensure you are familiar with the Waterland open water swimming safety documents which can be found on our Safety Page.
Please Note: We endeavour to provide access 7 days a week to our swim members until 10:00am. At times we may have to suspend swim sessions due to hosting events.
Lake 32 hosts a number of major events in the South West area so please bear this in mind and feel free to check our Waterland Outdoor Pursuits Facebook page for regular updates or simply contact the office.
